One of the newest additions to the West Region in 2010 are the Sacramento Gold. The Gold take their name from the old Sacramento Gold of the American Soccer League in the 1970′s.
The Sacramento Gold are lead by Richard Novoa and Ruben Mora, both members of the Mexican-American Soccer Hall of Fame.
The Gold held their first press conference last week, setting the tone for what is sure to be a long and successful career in the NPSL.
